hey just thought of a suggestion for coffee
as much as I love staying up for weeks without sleeping its op 
You could have a variable that's called "caffeine_effectiveness" and every time you use coffee (or the coffee chocolate) that number gets reduced and only increases (at the same rate) as your sleep when you sleep in a bed. 

that way you have to sleep for coffee to work

When I made the comment, I didn't realize that 4.0 had just released, I went and played it and was like "Oh I'm a massive dingus" 

I've been playing the game for days, and I love it, what I would love to see:

1. add an "sv.target root" command to lead us back to the base, I get lost
2. being able to equip and wield the crowbar, there is ammunition in the game already, so presumably at one point you will have to design an equip system, this could even tie into the Joel streams (of which there are already several references to) as the "emotional support crowbar"
3. sleep should accelerate accumulation the longer you stay in bed. Currently the sleep reallocation rate is linear, this is bad, because it means you can cheese the sleep system to bang out signals, the rate should accelerate maxing out after 8 hours
4. an electrical conversion kit for the quad, its based off the cyber quad, and the fact that it takes liquid fuel is hilarious, but there should be an upgrade, maybe worth 1000 credits that allows you to charge up the quad instead, and save on fuel in the long run
5. you should be able to pick up and move supply boxes before destroying them, not the shift + drag mechanic, but like the quad pick them up and move them, that way the 30 drives I ordered don't fly everywhere in the garage
6. lower the strings coming into the report, and also, fix the report systems, for example "Teresa" = "teresa", I've tried many times to write the reports and never once have any of them actually taken, I think its because of the string parsing you do, it should just look for the lowered name, and then the space, and then the 4 letter hash, so "tErEsSa 54ax Barbel ac-5 eggo axax" would be valid, all the other formatting your looking for is borking it up
7. add more wild and wacky signals, random generation would be cool 
8. the water... make it, you know, water
9. more spooks and scares if your sleep is low, like seeing a mannequin appear outside your window, then disappear if your sleep is low, scary faces appearing on the monitors if your sleep is low, auditory hallucinations, you know
